Interests:	A Havard Medical School graduate, Dr. Sydney Tyson went on to Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia, PA for his internship then to Wills Eye hospital in Philadelphia for his Residency. To this day, Dr. Tyson constantly gives back to Wills Eye Hospital where he is an Attending Surgeon and teaches residents. A Board Certified Ophthalmologist, Dr. Tyson is active on many other committee's and administrative services at Wills Eye Hospital. He persently serves on the Board of Directors for the Cataract and Primary Eye Care Services, Ltd., as Treasurer since 1996. Dr. Tyson also is a member of the Executive Council at Wills Eye Hospital since 1998. Also at Wills Eye Hospital, he is a Board of Director for the Refractive Surgery Center since 2000. Since 1999, he has served on the Editorial Board for Evidence-Based Eye Care which is a medical journal for practicing clinicians. Dr. Tyson actively writes articles for this publication.
