Maura Nolan, O.D. is a residency trained optometrist who specializes in Primary Eye Care & Pediatrics.
Dr. Nolan earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from Salus University in Philadelphia, PA where she graduated Cum Laude, with clinical honors, and was awarded excellence in pediatric care. She went on to complete a combined residency program in primary eye care, with emphasis in pediatrics and binocular vision at Nova Southeastern University of Optometry, Florida,.
Having a passion for education and furthering the education of eye care clinicians, during her residency Dr. Nolan traveled the U.S. presenting academic cases. She has researched and presented on a wide variety of topics, including: esotropia (eyes that turn in), binocular vision (how both eyes work together), viral ocular diseases, and congenital pediatric conditions.
Prior to her medical education and training, Dr. Nolan earned her Bachelors of Science degree at Shippensburg University.
