Born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana, Dr. Bren Davis is a member of the Wills Eye Cataract and Primary Eye Care service. He received his undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt University and his medical degree from Louisiana State University in New Orleans, where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. He completed an internal medicine internship at Tulane and an ophthalmology residency at the combined program of Georgetown and Washington Hospital Center.
Dr. Davis is a highly regarded primary eye care and cataract specialist in the Philadelphia region. Currently, he is an attending surgeon at Wills Eye and a Clinical Instructor at Thomas Jefferson University. He treats a wide range of ocular disorders but has a particular interest in cataract surgery, including premium cataract surgery and secondary intraocular lenses. He also specializes in laser refractive eye surgery, including LASIK and PRK. Additionally, Dr. Davis offers a comprehensive approach to glaucoma treatment, from early detection to minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS), ensuring the best possible outcomes for his patients.
Dr. Davis is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons. He is involved in teaching residents comprehensive ophthalmology and anterior segment surgery.
