Biography

Born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana, Dr. Bren Davis is a member of the Wills Eye Cataract and Primary Eye Care Service. He attended Vanderbilt University, followed by medical school at Louisiana State University in New Orleans where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. He completed an internal medicine internship at Tulane followed by ophthalmology residency at the combined program of Georgetown and Washington Hospital Center.

Dr. Davis is an attending surgeon at Wills Eye and Clinical Instructor at Thomas Jefferson University. He treats a wide range of ocular disorders but has a particular interest in cataract surgery. This includes premium cataract surgery, astigmatism correction and secondary intraocular lenses. He also performs laser refractive eye surgery (LASIK/PRK) and minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS). He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons. He is involved in teaching residents both comprehensive ophthalmology and anterior segment surgery.
